Strange Archives
Sue Strange is a professional historian with advanced degrees in history and American Studies. Based in Washington, D.C., she works primarily with the resources of the National Archives and Records Administration, the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian Institution. She has also undertaken work at overseas institutions including the Imperial War Museum and the National Archives in the U.K.
Textual records and photographs are either scanned in or digitally photographed. Images can be e-mailed or uploaded to a server for immediate viewing and downloading by the client.
Films in the Motion Picture branch at NARA are dubbed via mini-dv camcorder and can be sent to the client on mini-DV tape, DVD or VHS tape.
